The Wakening is a new young adult fantasy novel. It is written by author Auri Lynn who has worked mostly in environmental education and recreation. “Working as an interpreter meant doing something different each day,” Lynn says. When a recent change in career left the need for a creative outlet, The Wakening began. Lynn got into writing while planning programs for a historic mansion. “We would put on murder mysteries with a team of volunteers every year. After a few years we realized we could write them ourselves, so that is what we started doing.”
“Much of what I am writing just comes to me as I sit down to continue the story. I am really getting into the characters now and can’t wait to see how things turn out. I hope you enjoy it.” ~A
